About Me:
Moon is a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist, a Herbalist, Raw Food Specialist and a Level II Reiki Practitioner. Her specialty is in counseling her clients in nutrition with a combination of using nutrition, herbs and energy work to facilitate her clients healing. As an experienced herbalist and nutritionist Ms. Major utilizes the curative powers of plants to facilitate the healing of a variety of illnesses such as; Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Asthma, Allergies, stress related problems, Eczema, Arthritis, weight-loss and a whole host of other illnesses. Knowledge in numerous traditional herbal therapies is used by employing the entire components of the plants; i.e., the roots, leaves, barks, berries etc… to help facilitate the healing process. Part of my inspiration for wanting to be an herbalist is my grandmother who has since past on but in growing up I saw her used herbs a lot. For example I saw her used Rosemary and Sage a lot to wash her hair. My mom on the other hand did not used herbs too much and did not really seemed inspired to use them. She seemed a bit more interested in conventional medicine. However, I remember my mom always took Blood Pressure medication and I wondered how I could help her to stop taking it and used natural herbs to help her. Moon is the founder of Major Health & Wellness for Life Center. Her center is located in Queens. Her profession is witnessed by her many clients who come from various background for her care and expertise. Moon prides herself in taking special care of her clients needs by employing all her God given abilities, knowledge, experience and gifts to help her clients. These gifts are demonstrated by her warmth, friendly and compassionate spirit. Ms. Moon
also holds several workshops a year and lectures to help broaden the public’s knowledge base of diet and nutrition. Moon holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration, which she obtained in 1992 from York College. A Certification in Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, obtained in 2006 and graduated as a Herbalist from Original Herbal Remedies - June 2013.
