The Stoop Series: Black Women in Media
Join us for a dynamic discussion that seeks to create real dialogue about the issue of negative stereotypes of Black women in media. Panelists will deconstruct stereotypes like the Angry Black Woman, Gold Diggers, Baby Mamas and Sexy Vixens and encourage the audience to think critically about media consumption and to commit to redefining the existing media narrative.
