Hey New York!

We’ve got three nights of shows to add some weekday fun this week at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage.

Tonight, we’re “rising from the bunkers” with folk-indie band The Decemberists. Joining them is Jake Xerxes Fussell, a singer-guitarist forging a new sound inspired by traditional Southern folk sounds. Don’t miss out on grabbing your tickets now!

Add a FREE reggae break to your week on Wednesday for the Bigga Baggariddim Tour featuring UB40. The “Red Red Wine” hitmakers are joined by The Original Wailers featuring Bob Marley’s original guitarist Al Anderson; reggae-fusion vocalist Maxi Priest; and Big Mountain, known for their reggae-infused cover of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way.”

Keep up the reggae vibes with legendary roots singer-songwriter Burning Spear on his Fan Appreciation Tour on Thursday, presented by Sony Hall and Dayglo.

If you’re already looking ahead to the weekend, join us for the 30th anniversary of the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival featuring Terence Blanchard, Jazzmeia Horn, Archie Shepp and Jason Moran, and many others, to be held in Marcus Garvey and Tompkins Square parks; plus, don’t miss our last dance performance of the season with the powerful contemporary company Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in Central Park.
