Vegan Activist Alliance Activation Demonstration at Washington Square Park NYC
This is an educational outreach event, in order to best educate we must first inspire: We believe in veganism as one step of liberation praxis for all, and encourage activists to always center other-than human persons in their outreach while also addressing intersections of oppression when necessary.
We understand that in the current climate bystanders may have reactions that may be challenging for many activists- let’s remember to call people in, not out. We are here as allies to other-than human persons, and our job is to fight for their liberation.
The set up: Televisions will display the graphic images of the ongoing murders and torture of other-than human persons across the globe. Physical distancing in effect: A QR code and link will provide bystanders information on veganism and animal liberation. Face shields and masks will be provided; however, we encourage you to bring your own.
